Dr. Block I enjoyed reading your article and found it to be very informative. I agree that speech pathologists need to treat each client as an individual. There is no magic formula that works with every single client that stutters. I am currently working with an adult that stutters and from day one I have incorporated him in the therapy decision making process. By collaborating as a team, we are working on goals that are functional and beneficial specifically to my client. Thank you for writing this article. The topics discussed need to be considered by all clinicians working with clients that stutter.
