I thought it was interesting that the author discussed the availability of treatment options on the Internet. She specifically stated one treatment option for children, and one for adults. She then followed by stating the importance for more intense therapy for those with more severe stutters. It was interesting that she discussed the importance of not relying on one sole intervention, but utilizing mutliple therapy strategies in order to have more successful results. It was also important to understand, as a future clinician, that some strategies do not offer the option for completely normal sounding speech, and that the client should be aware of this fact, prior to their therapy.
