Sorry - I hit the wrong button before I had finished! Busy client with inflexible circumstances are very difficult. It is important to try to work out with people like that what their usual routine is and see how we can use their routine taskes (e.g. on the phone, in meetings, in classes etc) to become practice tasks - where they get into a routine of self-monitoring or self-evaluating. I will sometimes ask clients to email me their self-evaluation scores or their practice results. Sometimes I will call them (having checked it is OK and useful) to give them some spontaneous practice on the phone (e.g. before an important meeting etc.). However, to really be successful they really need to create some time to have some focus on their speech. It may be that they use their staff to remind them or the sight of their PA etc serves to cue them in - whatever works.
