Hello Anita, There is so much more I could say in this posting, but I wanted to let you know in my own manner that you live your life with no apologies and a confidence that we should all emulate. I would never in a million years ask for anyone to return my stutter if they found it. Sure, I've had my good days and bad days, but it has brought me so may rewarding things: Compassion. Resilience. Passion. A chance to become a member in a truly amazing organization like the National Stuttering Association, where I have met (and continued to meet) people whose words inspire me, and let me know that my battle is being shared. It's also shown me my voice is going to be heard, and people are going to want to hear it, but most importantly they will need to hear it. And who cares about my stutter? It's just one part of my personality. And my personality is an asset I am truly proud of...see karaoke night as an example if you have any questions haha. Anita, you're truly the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I hope to see you in Arizona for NSA 2009! Steven Kaufman
