Thanks, Peter! I also think this could be adapted for an activity that would relate to talking about feelings, ways to react to teasing, choices to make when in a tricky speaking situation (such as wanting to get the attention of peers or something like that)or anything else tht pertained to where the child was in the therapy process. You could evenbrainstorm all the things kids have talked about "wanting to get" from speech therapy. It might be a great way to get a child talking about what he/she wants. Actually you could get a picture of a soccer goal and blow it up and put the things kids want (goals of therapy) in that goal and then go over them. (I know I should stop now!) The key, as you know, is to make it contextualized and concrete so that the child can understand the concepts you are discussing in a more effective way. Thanks, Peter for all of your work! Kristin
