What a great idea! Simple, yet powerful. It makes both children feel special. It can apply to adults too. Last year, at one of my support group meetings, a member brought her parents to sit in on the group. I could tell just by looking at her parents expressions that they were getting so much out of sharing that experience with their daughter. It gave them a glimpse into different things their adult child deals with, and showed that their are many other adults managing stuttering in their daily lives.
