Crystal, I wanted to thank you for this excellent idea. Being a graduate clinician myself, I will take this idea with me throughout my professional career. I believe that it would be a great way for children to be more tolerant of their peers. While the child in therapy is only bringing one friend to be involved hands-on, the positive experience will be heard throughout the entire school. This could lessen the teasing and encourage children to be more open-minded to others with speech disorders.
