Katelyn, Thanks for sharing your experience. I do alot of work to set the foundation for teachers to understand what we are doing and the objectives of the activity. So, they become part of the process and usually provide feedback to me after the activity. Invariably, the feedback is positive. There is usually a bond that forms between child in therapy and buddy. Also, it's interesting how the "buddy" typically becomes an advocate and shares shat he/she has learned with others in class...Especially, since kids are curious and want to know "what happened?"
