YES! That's an entirely different activity...The CWS goes into the classroom with me and becomes the "stuttering expert." We teach the whole class about stuttering and introduce them to all the cartoon characters...speech superheroes, led by SuperFIG...which are representative of each of the 6 Fluency Initiating Gestures (FIGs) which are central to our PFCT-3 children's program. The CWS becomes the expert...what a great ego booster! PLUS, all children benefit from learning fluency enhancing techniques to improve oral communication skills.
