As a PWS I can remember my childhood days of attending speech therapy in public school (Davie, Fl!!!). Day after day the class would ask "why I got to go" and in the later years a stigma became attached to reciving "services" in school. I think you idea is very thoughtful and I can see the positive outcomes it would bring for the client's progress. My question is what possible effects (if any) do you think there are with a speech therapist doing in a push-in activity within the classroom involving stuttering?
