I love this idea :) I can imagine that it truly helps eliminate some of the negative feelings the other children might have about stuttering and/or speech therapy. I find, in general, that once you have answered a child's questions regarding an unknown topic they become less foused on it and more accepting of it. That being said, my question is this: If a child who stutters is reluctant to select a buddy for whatever reason (shyness, embarassment, etc.)should you still encourage it because you know it could be beneficial or should you let the idea go?
