Two points in answer to your first question: 1. If the child does not feel comfortable inviting a friend to therapy, I respect his wishes,although I would probably wait awhile and ask again, realizing that as therapy progresses and the child feels more comfortable, he may decide to invite a friend later on. 2. If he says he has NO FRIENDS, then I would make more inquiries and, if needed, refer to a counselor. As for your last question, I do not encourage inviting the same friend to class more than once. We want as many classmates as possible to have the experience.
