Thank you for the informative article. I have two questions that I hope you can provide some insight on: 1) Will older students, such as those in middle school or high school, benefit from intensive treatment in a school setting as well? Although it is desirable to provide intervention as early as possible, but research has shown that the teenage brain is still undergoing active rewiring and is high in plasticity. Are they good candidates to be on the receiving end of similar services in the public school system? 2) Do you have any suggestions/advice for SLP graduate students who are interested in becoming a specialist in fluency/stuttering?
