What a great article! When you hear of such a pioneer as Dr. Charles Van Riper who seemed to have his own regrets, you see that we never stop learning. What a challenge as well as a thrill it must have been for Dr. Carl Dell to be working so closely with Dr. Van Riper. If children are focused on stuttering modification in the public schools, the need for adults searching for therapy may drop down significantly, would it not? What a great thing you are doing still, today Ms. Reardon-Reeves and how rewarding it must be for you. Thank you for sharing your experiences and uplifting, sensible ideas.
