Hello Rhian; In answer to your first question, I beleive that there has been an effort through the SBFD (Specialty Board on Fluency Disorders) for specialists to make themselves "known" in their local areas, as consultations with school districts may arise. Unfortunately, your second question is much more difficult to answer. I am afraid that no one can give advice on number of minutes without being invovled in the case. Each case and student are individual and only you and the parent (or team) invovled in the child's care can make that determination. As far as talking to the child's parent about increasing time, I have found that most parents welcome suggestions when they are made in the spirit of meeting their child's needs. Good luck with your studies! Nina Reeves
