Samantha; First of all, I wish you luck in your studies! Unfortunately, your question has too much breadth to be answered in this forum. Your graduate level class in stuttering should help in your ability to feel as though you know where to start. Please find a colleague that has broad-based knowledge in stuttering and watch to learn. Then, look for clinical references (from companies like Linguisystems, Super Duper, AGS, Pro-Ed, etc) for stuttering. Read whatever you can from the SFA and NSA. Take advantage of support groups near you and on the national and international levels (NSA, Friends, Brittish Stammering Association, etc) Also, take in CEU seminars presented by those who specialize with children who stutter. Learning about stuttering takes studies, watching, and experience. Dive in and go forth! :) Nina Reeves
