Good job from the two Joes! I always found my stuttering to be very helpful in my role as therapist, but over the years since 1945 I've seen good and poor fluent clinicians and good and poor stuttering clinicians. The problem of stuttering itself, and the client-clinician relationship, have so many interwoven variables that it's difficult to make reliable generalizations, but youse guys have done a splendid job of pointing out some really important considerations. I bet you're good therapists!
