Thanks, Colleen. Hopefully Fluent Joe will have a comment here as well, but I think some clients prefer a therapist who stutters and some clients prefer a fluent therapist (and some don't care either way). I wonder if Fluent Joe would agree with me that I may have the easier job in that regard ... if someone either wants a stuttering therapist or does not care, perhaps that signals that they are in a better place, acceptance-wise with the stuttering... maybe fluent Joe, with clients who would choose only him, has a more difficult job...
