Hi Sara. Yes, their success will have little to do with your past. Their success will have lots to do with their present, and your presence. (I just made that up, I like it :-) If, in the moment, disclosure of your challenges will help the client in some way, do it. If it won't, don't, which is pretty much what you said. Sounds like you are on your way to being a great clinician. Joe K.
