As a graduate student, I found your article to be very valuable. In our field, it appears that Speech-Language Pathologists who stutter are more likely to be involved in stuttering therapy than those who do not stutter. Many of the theories, treatment programs, and texts seem to be created by people who stutter. I was beginning to wonder if I would be able to work with a person who stutters and really feel like I could be of assistance to them and create a bond with them. This article helped me see that it was possible. I enjoyed getting two perspectives and I thought the article addressed a very interesting topic.
