Todd, Great thought provoking post. I have not heard of any program where the client is offered a choice of either a therapist who stutters or one that does not stutter. It would be interesting though and my guess would be that different clients would make different decisions. Most likely the decisions would be based on your two points: 1. Which one are they most comfortable with, 2. Which one do they feel would be most beneficial for them to address a specific issue with. Again this may have nothing to do with stuttering.
