For me, the point at which I find that my stuttering becomes a problem in therapy is if it has gotten to the poiint that I cannot communicate in a reasonable way with my client. I have actually only had that happen twice and both times the client wanted to continue therapy with me. Certainly a problem day provides the pws who is a clinician to model the behaviors that we wish to instill in our clients. As others have said, its not about the quantity of your stuttering, its about the quality of your stuttering and I would that the quality of your stuttering is a reflection on whether you are a "do as I say not as I do" kind of clinician.
