Thanks, Joe and Joe, for this very interesting and thought-provoking article! I believe that one of the most important aspects of therapy is goal identification – what does the client most want to get out of the therapeutic process? Joe K., as a therapist who stutters, do you find it difficult to “let go” of your own ideas of what particular therapy goals should be and embrace those of your clients? For that matter, this question could apply to fluent therapist as well.
