I want to thank you for a great article. It gave me great insight on how a clinician who stutters can be just as effective as someone who does not. I am a first year graduate student and we recently discussed the aspect of an SLP who stutters. The topic was of interest for me but I hadn't taken a stance. I was open minded but I also thought about how a client would feel to have a therapist who stuttered. This article presented that although it could be a problem for some, it usually has a different underlying problem. Thank you for bringing that to my attention
