Thanks Jessica for all the nice words. Bullying is something a lot of people seem to identify with. Hopefully, it’s less prevalent today than in the past (given the attention paid to it now). As for the literary agent, I think she had in mind a story for older kids, though her advice still amounted to this: Compose a different story.
