Tanya—The topic of parents is one I thought a lot about while putting this together. I wrote out some “Notes for Parents” for the book form (if it ever comes to pass). These notes include paragraphs about acceptance, avoiding trite advice, and an explanation that parents are not to blame for stuttering. What I haven’t quite decided is whether notes of this sort are necessary.
