Hello, The secondary behaviors that I have most observed have been dropping of eye contact and reluctance to verbalize. In the younger child, if they show frustration from stuttering, then it is fine to casually say "It's OK to have Bumps in your speech" and then quickly move on. Not making a big deal about stuttering is a good way to prevent development of shame of stuttering. Thank you.
