Hello, Normal boys and girls begin to stutter at the same rate but girls are more likely to pass through stuttering as they mature. Probably, the same things happens with Downs Children. I have not heard of Downs Parents receiving information before the start of stuttering as a proactive move. Could be a good idea. As a young SLP, you might want to think about doing this. Thank you.
