Hello, The ideas of self regulation comes from the occupational therapists who work on sensory integration skills. There are many strategies to calm a child and some might be use of swinging, bouncing on a therapy ball, or manipulation of small objects that they call "fidgets". This is a very interesting area to explore and I think a lot of PWS have SI issues. Thank you. Judith
