Hello, Sensory integration issues result in a neurological system that can be easily excited. We know that excitement, positive or negative, can increase stuttering. If the child can learn to regulate their excite level, more fluency will occur. Occupational therapists are the ones who help with SI issues and then help train teachers and parents. Thank you.
