Hello, Mainstreaming can occur very young, even at the kindergarten level. Stuttering emerges independent of mainstreaming and is tied into level of language development. As special needs children are integrated into regular classrooms, I'm sure education is done with the regular education students. If the Downs Child stutters, education could be done about that.
