Hello, In young children, it is beneficial to comment on their stuttering in a casual way if they are showing struggle and frustration. Just say, "It's OK to have bumps in your talking." and move on. Downs children develop stuttering later because of their language delay. Again, do the same thing with these kids. You want to avoid the development of SHAME of stuttering. Thank you. Judith
