I started in stuttering therapy 1950 with the European style of speech exercises. 1970 I became familiar with the non-avoidance therapy approach and 1979 with the coarticulation approch (Sourtney Stromsta(1986): Elements of Stuttering, Atsmorts Publishing, Oshtemo, Michigan). 1993 I completed the workshop for specialists in stuttering therapy at Northwestern University (Hugo Gregory et al.). In my online paper I have tried to make an comparative analysis and I do not have answers to questions about the most accurate perspective, the most helpful treatment plan, or the most important idea. Stuttering theories and therapy has always been associated with the society and the era.
