Sachin, it is a longer story. But at the time for the compilation of the Exodus, at least 700 years after Moses and about 500 years B.C., there were no words to differentiate between stuttering and othe speech problems. But it sems obvious that Moses had some kind of problem with oral communication because God arranged that Aaron, the brother of Moses, should speak instead of Moses. It seems possible to conclude from the text and the tradition that Moses that Moses had some kind of problem with oral communication but from the text it is difficult to conclude that the problem was stuttering. It is also important to keep in mind that the person Moses has never been a real living person but an epic hero. That does not excludes the possibility for a historic person and some historical events as a basis for the Moses tradition.
