Thanks for your interest in the article and our program Brandi. The program is open to all adults who stutter, regardless of their severity level. We will work with anyone who is truly willing to committ to the process. We have limited the program to ages 18 and above, simply because we believe that the 75 hours of therapy in 9 days will be too difficult for younger teens. We hope to offer something different to that age group in the future. I am very intrigued by our telepractice model (use of SKYPE and videoconferencing). We have four clients receiving therapy via this method, which is the first group of clients we have seen using this format. I do believe that we will move toward a model of service delivery that includes SKYPE as a primary delivery model (with and without the intensive part of our program). We are in a rural area, and I think this is going to be the way we ultimately can help the most people. At this point, I really believe it is better to have the intensive expereince first, then the follow-up using the telepractice (or traditional therapy method in our clinic). Clients get so much therapy contact in that intensive portion, that it is hard to replicate that experience over a long period of time.
