This was a good article, even though it seemed a bit too clinical for the lay person, such as myself. I am an adult PWS, who was covert for most of my life, up until 2 years ago, when I started talking about my stuttering for the first time. I have been involved with my local college's speech therapy program since then, including attending two of the weekend workshops offering intensive therapy by supervised graduate student clinicians. I have heard peers discuss their frustration at gaining increased fluency for several weeks after the intense workshop, and then relapsing back into their typical stuttering patterns, and lamenting the fact that they could not maintain the fluency. This has not been my experience, but I am interested in learning your take on this. Thanks again for sharing your findings.
