I am not sure I would even consider testing the concept of telepractice/telihealth being superior to face to face contact. We are planning to use it only as a follow-up to our intensive services. Since we will be meeting with the individuals in the intensive for a large number of hours, we will have established rapport. So, any discomfort with the SKYPE interactions will be minimal, at least we think so given the first 4 people we are working with in this paradigm. All that being said, I know that there are probably places that are using the telepractice as the primary model for service delivery. At our clinic, we are beginning to discuss how this might be offered. Thanks for your question.
