Yes it would. What I am presenting here is also an ecclectic approach to working with people who stutter. I have consulted with different disciplines and I have done a significant amount of research in the development of this program. I also have data that suggests that this program works to improve many aspects of our clients' lives. I do not believe that being an SLP would make me less able to offer an ecclectic program, nor am I offering lip service to the process. My background in offering treatment does.
