Julie and Maryann, Thank you for this article. What these children have done is not only help themselves cope with their disorders, but help others under stand them. Teasing is just a way to deal with not understanding. I feel that the more they talk about it to their peers and accept it themselves the less others will see it as a difference or as a reason to pick on them. Have you seen that the children who have chosen to share their stories with their peers at an early age find it easier to accept their disorder later in life? Thank you, J. Worrall Minn.
