That's the same question I'm trying to answer! But, really, I think my response will be nothing new to you, and that is that if you can communicate effectively, by saying useful and interesting things, and yet still stutter significantly, then what you are saying is more important than how you say it. However, whilst that is all very sound and logical, the fact is that if you want to reach a big audience, you need to get onto the media. But they don't particuarly want a nobody like me sitting on the sofa in their studios, they want a celebrity. And, as far as I can see, there are no celebrities who stutter. Who is surprised about that! Of course, there are celebs who used to stutter, but they don't show people what it is like if you do stutter and they give the impression that, because they conquered it, anyone else could do the same - and therefore stuttering is no problem.
