Good article. Parents of cws ask me all the time "why isn't there more quality info on stuttering." You touched on pws reluctance to talk about stuttering with non pws. I AGREE. Many other diagnoses (i.e., autism) with a lower prevalence are doing a better job at getting the word out. Do you agree that adult pws play a role with SLPs and parents of cws in publicizing the problems of growing up with a stutter?
