I want to thank all of those who read my article and posted comments and questions about its content. This conference is wonderful venue for discussion about the treatment of stuttering and I hope that my responses have been helpful to those to asked specific questions about the principles of stuttering therapy, at least from my perspective. I am very pleased that many graduate students found my principles helpful in seeing the big picture of stuttering therapy. I wish I would have had this kind of information and this type of conference when I was entering the profession. If any of the papers and responses to them in this conference help even one clinician feel more confident and comfortable working with child or adults who stutter, it has been well worth the effort.
