Pam, Writing all these articles is a major pain in the ass. Ha, ha, ha! But actually DOING those interviews and speaking to classes of student SLPs is more fun than the law allows! During the year I look soooo much forward to three events: 1. The NSA annual conference, 2. Jan's student interview project (as described in this paper), and 3. This ISAD online conference, especially the Questions/Comments section. You're gonna have a LOT of fun interacting with everyone who reads your paper. The concept of covert stuttering is VERY difficult to explain. It takes actual interpersonal interactions to demonstrate what it's all about. ..... If you have the opportunity to become an Area Governor, jump on it! It's one of the most FUN jobs in all of Toastmasters! Trust me on this... Russ
