Hi Russ I saw you at first in Boston 2001, and since that time I still enjoy your stories and examples about cooperations between selfhelpgroups, SLP students, and so on. We are also going to speak in schools of students SLP, and learned to see what's the best situation so that everyone felt comfortable. At first we spoke for the whole group, and they had to ask questions. Since the students were shy too, they were not so many questions. Then we tried it another way : Talk about us in front of the class (who wanted), and then separated the groups of students by means of how many pws there where (pityfull enough, we still are with few pws, there several therapyforms are getting together to do their story). But it works !!! And afterwards, we change places, so all students have heard everyones story and could ask questions to everyone. So at the end we ask at the students to make a resume of what they found the evening, and we also let one of us make a resume, to compare and to learn from eachother.
