Thank you so much Mr. Hicks for your truly wonderful article about this stuttering project!! As a graduate student, we are not given many opportunities to interact with people who stutter. I completely agree with you that students learn more from interacting with people then learning from a textbook. I would love to have the chance to have a client rate/grade me on my interviewing abilities so I can learn and improve from that experience. It would also be enlightening to have the ability to talk with people who stutter so I could better understand the feelings, emotions, hardships, and struggles they face on an every day basis. Thank you for caring about future SLP graduate students and for sharing this wonderful project with all of us. I hope that your enthusiasm, interest, and success will entice professors from all over to do the same. Thank you once again ~Heather~
