Thank you for this article Russ. I can agree 100% with the title. We do just want to have fun and get to know the individuals we work with. This article made me think of a saying I heard recently in a class, if you know one person who stutters, you know one person who stutters. Everyone is so different and stuttering affects him or her in different ways so it is important for students to get to know the individual and this is a great way to do that. I am wondering now in regards to the NSA group itself. Do you find it hard for adults who have stuttered most of their life and not received previous help to accept the help that NSA could offer them? What would be something you would say to a PWS that is reluctant to embrace their stutter? Thank you, J. Worrall Minn. State - Mankato Undergrad
