Mr. Hicks, I was scrolling through the list of articles, and of course, I HAD to check out the one entitled, "SLP students just wanna have FUN!" :) I know it's been said in previous posts but this project really sounds like an amazing way to meet people who stutter, really get to know them, and get practice doing an initial meeting/informal evaluation. As an aside, I just wanted to let you know about a project that our fluency professor has us do. She has us go out and simulate stuttering so we get a little better idea of the emotions that people who stutter experience. I like your project better because there's food and fun people involved, but don't tell my professor- even though I know she'll probably read this :).
