Hi Tracy, ... I assure you is most definitely IS a fun project! <smile> .... I'm not sure if I could detect many attitude CHANGES because Jan always does such a good job preparing her students for stuttering therapy. However probably the most common observation of most students who attend a group NSA function like a chapter meeting, Toastmasters, Chat and Chew, etc., is "I didn't realize that y'all are so DIFFERENT! No two people stutter the same way AT ALL!" Ha, ha, ha! That's a very accurate observation and I guess that what makes stuttering therapy so challenging - and fun! Some day I want to be a fly on the wall when a group of SLP students get together and discuss the different people they interviewed. It must be riot! Ha, ha, ha! I'm sure each student has a radically different experience than every other one of her classmates. We call this "learning!" Yes indeed, stuttering is a WHOLE PERSON problem, not one isolated to a voice box. ... I wish you the best in school and in your career, Tracy. I hope our paths cross some day! .... Russ
