Hi again James, To the contrary, I haven't seen a single example of students thinking they know all the answers. Neither male nor females. Every single student I've interviewed or otherwise had contact with is more than appreciative to have the experience of talking with someone who actually stutters. Of the male SLPs a significantly higher number of them actually do stutter themselves, but again they realize that we're all so different they even though they may have found a good therapy for THEM, their therapy may or may not be right for another person who stutters. I've NEVER had a negative experience with a student SLP. Never. ... My best to you! .... Russ
