Ed, As I said in my previous reply I'm certainly willing to join you as an advocate for a multidiciplinary approach. I've called for more psychology in stuttering therapy since my first involvement with the Australian Speak Easy Assoc in 1993. I remember giving a presentation to the national conference of the Speech Pathology Association here in 2000 concluding with the suggestion that speech pathologists involved in stuttering therapy work with psychologists, counselors, teachers and social workers. My presentation highlighted the work of long time consumer advocate John Harrison and his hexagon explation of the systems that may cause, and certain would maintain, stuttering. PTSD is an interesting approach. I'll put together some thoughts later..
